Linsey the lone camper...

Today's workout was a benchmark workout.

This is one of the workouts we use to gauge the fitness progress of campers.

It pretty simple, just do the workout. If you happen to lift more weight, perform more "rounds" or finish in a faster time, good for you!

Your hard work work is paying off.

Today here's what came up:

10 Kettlebell Swings
5 Push ups

Seems easy enough...

Here's the catch;

You have 20 minutes to complete as many rounds as possible.

Pacing is key here, but go too slow and you'll finish with too much "in the tank".

Today was the first time Linsey did this workout, so today we set her baseline.

She finished 13-1/2 rounds w/ an 8kg kettlebell and perform pushups from her knees with full range of motion (a must).

This is awesome for a first time, and I'll be curious to see where she take this.

For a reference anything of ten rounds is good.

Try this at home and post how many rounds you get. make sure you use perfect form or the reps don't count.

If you don't have kettlebell you can sub a dumbbell.
